God`s forgiveness is motivated by love
God`s forgiveness is motivated by love If we are to recieve forgiveness from God, we must forgive others. For Jesus also stated If you forgive men when they sin against you Your heavenly father will also forgive you. If you do not forgive men their sins, your heavenly father will not forgive your sins. God offers repentance to all who come to Him! I know that many people believe that they have done something that they can not be forgiven for, but that is incorrect. For He knows how we are formed, He remembers that We are dust. God`s forgiveness is motivated by love expressed by Jesus Christ and now also our forgiveness is expressed by love. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that who ever belives in His should not perish but have everlasting life.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
My love for God is increased by his forgiveness, for I must take courage to realize that God does for me what I cannot do for myself: He makes me whole and frees me from the consequence of my sin. Only by grace and love does he do this. It confirms to me how greatly my worth is to him. I cannot fix my own sin or failures. But God renews me, forgives me and empowers me to live in the way of Christ, simply because he loves me and wants to pour the fullness of his life into mine. This takes courage from me. I must confront my own fear that would keep me from God and let his wonderful love increase my love for him.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God
When we have a tiff with someone we feel bad and later if we manage to patch up''reconcile'' properly we tend to get closer and the love becomes stronger/deeper. It is the same with God. When God forgives us we tend to get closer to him and we begin to feel his deep love. Let`s say that your dad catches u doing something terribly wrong and u were expecting the worst of the scolding and than unexpectedly he says i forgive you my child. How would you feel?

How do Jesus` words make you feel? You may want to save your answer as Private
Jesus` words gives me hope. It makes me happy. It is what keeps me going through each day. Sometimes I get tired of all the evil in me and all around me but when I read the Gospels my strength is renewed. I thought I was a born loser but Jesus changed all that negative thinking. He showed me that I am loved by my Maker and that makes me a winner. ''Imagine I can call the Creator of the universe my father! And His love for me is immeasurable'' I want to tell others of His love...

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
When I was in fifth grade, a pastor visited our class. He talked about God and His son Jesus Christ who can save us from eternal damnation. Prior to the visit, I already knew that Jesus died on the cross and died for our sins. But I only had a vague idea why He needed to do that. Moreover, the God I knew from childhood was a strict judge who hurls souls of very bad people''murderers, terrorists, adulterers'' to the lake of fire; who forgives not so bad people''ocassional liars, petty thieves'' after saying repeated prayers and bloody penitence; and who rewards the title Saint to good people who followed the Ten Commandments without fail. When I first heard that faith in Jesus after all is the only way to God, my emotions ranged from doubt, to surprise, to amazement, then to happiness and hope. My little mind cannot contain that God can forgive both murderers and mischievous girls. But despite my little faith, I prayed the sinner`s prayer and accepted Jesus as my Saviour. Now as I look back on that beautiful morning, I realized that I started to love God more and more. There are times when my weaknesses, sins, and other people condemn me but at the end of the day, when I am alone in my room with God, I approach the throne of grace with Jesus and ask for God`s mercy. With all the wickedness in the world I sometimes wonder how a Holy God can repeatedly forgive sinners including me...God is indeed Love! That`s why I my love for Him increases... When I was still a sinner, I try to stop sinning for fear of damnation and to earn a place in heaven, when I was saved I follow my Father`s commandments because it is what pleases Him. I`m doing it not out of obligation but out of love for Him...

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
Bieng forgiven increases ones love for God by knowing that God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ and that Christ suffered and rose again from the dead and by this our sins were forgiven and whoever believes in Christ shall not perish but have eternal life, does not come under judgement but has passed from death to life.

"The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a certain king who wished to settle accounts with his slaves. And when he had begun to settle them, there was brought to him one who owed him ten thousand days wages. But since he did not have the means to repay, his lord commanded him to be sold a, along with his wife and children and all that he had, and repayment to be made. The slave therefore falling down, prostrated himself before him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you everything.' And the lord of that slave felt compassion and released him and forgave him the debt. ( Matthew 18:23-35)
