Was Jesus a trickster doing magic?

Absolutely not. Jesus was not a trickster, and He didn't do magic.

There is nothing in the Bible to suggest Jesus was a trickster doing magic. The New Testament Bible shows that Jesus performed miracles which people could not explain. Therefore some people may think he was doing tricks. But Jesus stated His miracles were done by the power of His heavenly Father, God.

Furthermore, Jesus was (and is) truth and light. He cannot lie and does not deceive or trick people.

Was Jesus a man?

In the New Testament Bible, we learn that Jesus was a man, but He was also God. This is better understood in the letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians, chapter 2.

Although Jesus was a man, He was one with God the Father. More info here.

Jesus was born as a human baby, and became a man. Nonetheless, He came from outside of this world. Read about it here.

Was Jesus God?

Many people believe Jesus to be God because of what He said about Himself and because of what His life revealed. 

According to the New Testament biographies of Jesus seen in the Gospels, Jesus claimed to be the Son of God and the Son of man. He was also one with God which makes Him God. He claimed to be “I am that I am”.
