Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?
Love is a new way of thinking, the law is a bunch of have nots taste nots and do nots with a few dos, but love is refershing and new and not restrictive. Jusy my thoughts.

Define "Compassion"?
I always think of compassion by looking at the word in segments. Compass and passion - compass meaning "to surround" or "to understand" and passion meaning "pain" -- so I get the meaning "to surround pain". I learned the word comes from Latin "compati" which is sometimes translated 'to sympathize' and pati might literally mean 'to suffer' - it feels like a word one must feel with ones whole beaing.

Brief Life Summaries

Jesus was born, lived as a man - an exceptional life, completed the mission he came for, died on the cross for my sins and rose from the grave the third day as he predicted. He is the only one to die and rise and tell about it, impressive in itself. Seen by hundreds after he rose. That is why I believe.

Jesus claimed that after a future period of destruction and distress, he (The Son of Man) will come back to earth with great power and glory. What did Jesus say he would do at that time?
He said we can know the signs of his return
