We should die for a friend
Jesus died on the cross for us (friends). He asked God to forgive the romans because he loved everyone. the people morun because the knew that Jesus was not guilty. But we must remember that this was part of God's will. Jesus could've taken himself off of the cross. But the will of God had to be done.

Paradise
What Jesus mented by Paradise is heaven. That is we confess with our mouth and believe with our heart that we are save the we will see him again. And live in Heaven. One theif believe that Jesus was son of man and the other one didn't. The one who believed will be recieved in heaven. The other one won't.

The Crucifixion
Jesus already know that when He was to be crucified, He was going to be alright.  It was the people that were left behind that had more to worry about.  Him dying meant he was freed from bondage and ridicule from 'claiming' to be the Christ of God.  At first they were believers because of what they saw, but then when He was asked to do other things, they ridiculed Him and says if He is truly the chosen one He will save Himself.  The people didn't realize that the crucifixion was the ultimate price for being the Christ of God.

By his humiliation my servant will justify many;

After his suffering he will see light and be satisfied; it is their guilt he bears.

Therefore I shall allot him a portion with the great, and he will share the spoil with the mighty, because he exposed himself to death and was reckoned among transgressors, for he bore the sin of many and interceded for transgressors.Isaiah 53:11-12

The Crucifixion
This junction was very complexed and full of surprises and curiousity, as it challenged what Jesus proclaimed to the world regarding his mission. Everyone wondered if Jesus was God and whether he will save himself. Fortunately he saved himself and us, unfortunately it was not recognized during that time and well as today. It was at the cross where I first saw the light and teh burdens and sickness of my heart roll away. It was there by faith, I recieved my sight and now I am happy everyday. His crucifixion washed away my sins, healed me and bore my bordens.

The Crucifixion

When they led him away, they grabbed one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it after Jesus. A great multitude of the people followed him, including women who also mourned and lamented him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, don't weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.' Then they will begin to tell the mountains, 'Fall on us!' and tell the hills, 'Cover us.' For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?"
There were also others, two criminals, led with him to be put to death. When they came to the place that is called The Skull, they crucified him there with the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.
Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing."
Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots. The people stood watching. The rulers with them also scoffed at him, saying, "He saved others. Let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen one!"
The soldiers also mocked him, coming to him and offering him vinegar, and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"
An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: "THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS."
One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!"
But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Don't you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong." He said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom."
Jesus said to him, "Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."
