What role, if any, do people play in growing the field of God`s Kingdom?
Well, people try their best to instill Jesus in the minds of young children by reading the Bible to them, by teaching them to pray and by one`s actions. I think this is a good way to start growing the field of God`s Kingdom.

People like the preachers, the pastors, and evangelists have grown the field of God through spreading the goodnews of Hs Kingdom. Many people have been brought to believe in God and turn to Him, because of the word they hear. Dont you think you guys at Jesus Central are growing the field also?

Well, if one was a farmer planting seed like corn, wheat or cotton. After it was watered and got sunshine to grow up into crops. And when it is ripe for harvesting you can reap what you have sown. But in this parable of the growing seed. I think it is when the word of God is sown into people hearts and planted in good soil. So when the time comes for God to reap his harvest for his kingdom we will be ready. Jesus is the seed and we believer`s are his harvest. We reap what we sow like money, material things or your love for the Kingdom of God. Amen! Also read 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 Sowing Generously

The people play the role of planting and harvesting. You plant the faith in yourself and in others and leave it to grow by God`s support and you harvest from the gifts of faith. The open gate to Heaven.

First, the seed must be planted in the soil by someone, ''preach the word''. God will do the rest through the Holy Spirit. Then the man of God shall appear to harvest the ripened souls, ''leading men unto confession of Christ'', and to deliver to the Lord`s barn ''church''

He said, "The Kingdom of God is as if a man should cast seed on the earth, and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he doesn't know how. For the earth bears fruit: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts forth the sickle, because the harvest has come."
