Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?
Jesus was trying to make them understand that not the knowledge of the law, nor the experience of life, are essential in the redemption problem, but the innocence and the sincere availability.

Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?
The deciples did not want the children to come to Jesus because they thought that Jesus was tired and that the children would only be a disturbance. Jesus allowed the little children to come so He could explain to everyone how we must be to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, like little children.

Jesus on children
Most today interpret Jesus` exhortation to be like children psychologically ''innocense''. I think the social status interpretation was more accurate, although I don`t exclude the first interpretation. We are to be humble and okay with being outcasts in society.

Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?
These little children weren`t in distress; their parents brought them to Jesus for His blessing and perhaps the disciples thought this was a frivolous request. Jesus allowed them to come because He wanted His Father to be honored by their faith.

Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?
The disciples didn`t want the children go to Jesus because they might disturb him from his teachings. Jesus wanted the children to come to him, because children are innocent and honest, and I think those are some of the qualities He saw in them.
