Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?
They felt that the little children didnt need Jesus. They wouldn`t understand who are what Jesus is here for.. Jesus allow them because as he said everyone is welcome to the Kingdom of heaven. Especially the ones with humility as little children

Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?
The disciples felt like the kids don`t understand what is going on and it was just a waist of time. They probably thought the children would disturb Jesus work. Jesus allowed the little children to come in, he didn`t want the diciples to prevent them from coming to him because Gods` kingdom is made up of people like these.

Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?
The disciples did not want the little children to come to Jesus because they felt that these children did not understand what Jesus was saying and they would disturb him from his work. But Jesus rebuked them. Jesus allowed the children to come because he wanted mankind to know that these children are innocent and it is through them we will see the works of God. He said do not forbid them to come to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. The innoncent children who understand his teachings in their simple way.

I believe the diciples thought the children were unimportant, which was quite the contrary to Jesus`s thinking. Here was a new generation of deciples

Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?
I think the disciples always had it wrong, because they did not quite comprehend fully the person , character and mission of Jesus. This is not the only incident when Jesus and his disciples were clashing. I also think the disciples at this time were not spirit filled, rather, they were filled with themselves, always opting to decide for Jesus, and filled with selfish ego. If this is not the case, then perhaps they thought Jesus was so tired, and needed rest from any further disturbance. Finally, Jesus allowed the little children to come to him, because he wanted to teach one of the biggest leasons, that the kingdom of heaven is for such as children. he said later: unless you are like little children, you can not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Allow the little children, and don't forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these." He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.
