Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
Hello dear friends, Perhaps the Sadducees knew some little bible truth but just decided not to belive and as you know things of God if you don`t open up your heart before him he will never reveal to you his power. So these people knew the bible to some extend , but went ahead and did the wrong things. So they wanted Jesus to concide with them which he didn`t do ofcourse.

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The sadducees did not believe in the ressurrection, or the power of it, and yet it was very explicit in the scriptures. They did not understand the scriptures too, since they were confused about marriage in heaven. Thet didnt know that on ressurrection, people would have the form of angelsl

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The Saducees had their own belief that was not making them recognise the powers of God. The limited belief in a way that they did not even understand the words of Moses since Jesus could easily answer them using the same books they read and drew their laws from. They did not have the wisdom to understand the books they read about God.

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The saducees did not know the scriptures because they chose not to believe in the ressurrection, and probably they had no direct encounter with the power of God to raise people from the dead.

The Saducees did not know the Scriptures
I can`t really say maybe if they were not so religious and really pay more attention to God`s words they would of understood every thing about Him, You heard what Jesus said {you are mistaken, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.} so we should pay more attention to the scriptures and not being like the Sadducees.

Marriage at the Resurrection

On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him, saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.' Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother. In like manner the second also, and the third, to the seventh. After them all, the woman died. In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her."
But Jesus answered them, "You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God's angels in heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven't you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
