Why do you think the Saducees did not know about the scriptureas or the power of God?
They believe that there`s only one life and they believe in life in death not life after death. They deny that God can overpower Death. If we do believe in Jesus as our savior then we believe in His resurrection.

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The Sadducees didn`t believe in the afterlife and they were faithless. If you believe and have faith that you are going to heaven then you are going to heaven. Faith is the key word.

the saducees will not ask Jesus that question about the resurrection if they know the scriptures. It is our Hope that we will be resurrected and be glorified with Jesus on his Coming...So Hold on to our Faith

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
Here they are comparing heavenly things with the things of the world, which is abornomal. Brethren things of heaven is quite different from wordly things. For one to grow spritual never do such comparisations.

Marriage at the Resurrection

On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him, saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.' Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother. In like manner the second also, and the third, to the seventh. After them all, the woman died. In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her."
But Jesus answered them, "You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God's angels in heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven't you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
