Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
This is because the scripture is very clear about the resurectetion that Jesus is God of the living and not of the dead but the sadducees didnot believe in the resurrection. They ''Sadducees'' had no power of God ''The Holy Spirit''which can reveal the secret of the of the kingdom of God in accordance with the ressurection. It is like the Sadducees were mistake and misundertood the law of which God gave them through the prophet Moses. They were astonished because Jesus told them the truth about the ressurection that as brothers and sisters we will be enjoying all together like the angels in heaven. Glory be to God Amen!

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The Saducees were willfully ignorant of the Scriptures - they did not WANT to know the true meaning of the Scriptures and they likewise did not want to submit to the power of God, so they refused to acknowledge that Jesus was His Son.

The sadducees are faithless and did not know that marriage is in this life only. They did not know the power of God and the Christian hope for resurrection from the dead God is not the god of the dead but of the living. Loving relationships continue in heaven.

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The Saducees were not willing to venture out of their religious system which taught that there was no resurrection. Studying the word word have revealed the ressurrective power of God. This would have been dealt with in the Book of Job and the Psalms - to mention a few...the truth would have set them free but they were not willing to break down the old false system of laws.

because they did not know that the Lord i not of the dead but of the living when we welcome God in our hearts through Jesus we do not die we are given everlasting life, our bodies may die but our souls will be with God and Heaven is not like earth and the new earth that God gives us after satan is thrown into the lake of fire will not be like the earth we live in now, there will be no sin or sadness or anything like that

God is the God of the living souls of the earth. Once your body is returned to the earth, the soul that God loves dearly is no longer part of the body. Using a brethren`s seed to future a family`s line does not guarantee that the line, as the rule of cellular variation is not put to its potential, which means whatever diseases and illnesses that exist in that family line stay in that family line. Finally, knowing Jesus`s scriptures is a mandatory learning for all of mankind. Amen

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
I think the Saducees were thinking that heaven would be the same as life on Earth. They did not realize that God rules Heaven and Earth, and the rules of Earth do not apply in Heaven. They had not been learning about God and heaven, so they could only apply their earthly knowledge.

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
Because they did not understand the work of God. They were blindness to the truth. Because the word says we will all be like angels in heaven just like Jesus said. We believers will all be living in heaven with God and Jesus and his heavenly angels for eternity. Amen!

Marriage at the Resurrection

On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him, saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.' Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother. In like manner the second also, and the third, to the seventh. After them all, the woman died. In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her."
But Jesus answered them, "You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God's angels in heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven't you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
