He who sits at the Right Hand of God, is the one who leads us all to where we should go!!! TO follow Jesus and God and the Holy Ghost is to want and cherish the Holy Trinity`s place in our lives!!!! We must all try very hard to understand the faith, hope, love and peace the Trinity presents to us!!! As Christians, wether we falter or not, it is still up to us to keep our nose to the grindstone!!!!! Amen!!!!!

Why did the high priest view it as blasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the Son of God?
The high priest viewed it asblasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the Son of God because they did not believe in Jesus. Jesus said to him, You have said it. Nevertheless, I tell you, after this you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.

Why did the high priest view it as blasphamey, when Jesus said he was the Son of God?
First they wanted to find some reason enough, to convict Him, and this did well. Still, most Jews didi not believe that Jesus was Christ, even up to now, they are still waiting for the Christ to come. Therefore, may be it suprised the high priest to hear someone claim being Him, may be they did not expecte the Christ to bend so low.

Why did the high priest view it as blasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the Son of God?
Before Christ were many prophets, of whom they believe, Jesus is also one of them. This is more reason why they don`t believe in Him. Secondly, having known the natural father of Jesus as Joseph the capenter, they believe it is a sin for human being to called himself the Son of God. They believe God has no child and nobody ever seen God before to attest to it that surely Jesus was the Son of God.

Why did the high priest view it as blasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the Son of God?
They wonder how Jesus can claim Himself the Son God? They punch, slap and spit on His face and He do nothing about it. The high priest believe God will NEVER come as a human and NO man in this world can claim himself as a God -- this is a blasphemy ''make a fool of God'' during that time. They using this as a reason why Jesus is worthy of death.

Because the high priest did not understand that Jesus was the Son of God. So when the high priest asked Jesus are you the son of the Living God. And Jesus said to him, You have said it. the high priest tore his clothes and said He has spoken blasphemy! But Thank God for his son Jesus Christ!

Before the Sanhedrin

Those who had taken Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together. But Peter followed him from a distance, to the court of the high priest, and entered in and sat with the officers, to see the end. Now the chief priests, the elders, and the whole council sought false testimony against Jesus, that they might put him to death; and they found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came forward, and said, "This man said, 'I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.'"
The high priest stood up, and said to him, "Have you no answer? What is this that these testify against you?" But Jesus held his peace. The high priest answered him, "I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God."
Jesus said to him, "You have said it. Nevertheless, I tell you, after this you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky."
Then the high priest tore his clothing, saying, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy. What do you think?"
They answered, "He is worthy of death!" Then they spit in his face and beat him with their fists, and some slapped him, saying, "Prophesy to us, you Christ! Who hit you?"
