Why did the Pharisees call Jesus a deciever?
The Pharisees hated Jesus, because He was preaching a Kingdom that was strange to them, He even made people hate them. The ressurection was supernatural, they didn`t want people to believe Him.

Why did the Pharisees call Jesus a deceiver?
Because it has never occured to them that someone died and rise again. So, it will be look stupid or foolish for them to have been told that Jesus rose in the third day.

What do you think might have led Joseph of Arimathaea to be a disciple of Jesus?
Josephy of Arimathaea knew that his riches cannot take him to heaven but only the blood of JesusÂ. He also knew that Pilate would release the body of Jesus because at this point in time the body of Jesus was now useless to themÂ. Pilate thought that after giving the body to JosephÂ, Joseph will share his riches to himÂ. HoweverÂ, Joseph felt sorry with Jesus because Jesus was innocent and this is why he laid Jesus on his new tombÂ. Joseph followed Jesus because of the might works Jesus did on earthÂ. Amen!!!!

I think he had Jesus into his home at some time or other and possibly witnessed one of the many miracles that Jesus performed...or he simply listened to Jesus teach...

Why did the Pharisees call Jesus a deceiver?
Jesus did not confirm to the workings of their class. He opposed their shallow worship and called them sinners. They held onto their traditions and rejected the Word and fell into the trap of religion.

What do you think might have led Joseph of Arimathaea to be a disciple of Jesus?
Joseph of Arimathaea was a beleiver i Jesus. He shared many moments with Jesus but was not an open follower of Jesus. Because of his status and the conflicts with the leaders in the Jewish Society, Joseph worshiped Jesus in secret. When Jesus was dead he reasoned that it was not dangerous to act in love because the threat was nullified.

Why did the Pharisees call Jesus a deceiver?
The Pharisees called Jesus a deceiver because they did not believe he was the Son of God. They did not believe in his work, they felt he was blaspheming. They even felt that his disciples would steal his body and and said he is risen. But the word was true and still lives on today. Thank you Lord

The Burial of Jesus

When evening had come, a rich man from Arimathaea, named Joseph, who himself was also Jesus' disciple came. This man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus' body. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given up. Joseph took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock, and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed. Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the tomb.
