What is eternal life?
In John`s biography of Jesus, we read a simple description of eternal life: "This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ" (John 17:3).

Eternal life is what is given to those who choose to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It means that we will not face eternal separation from God (eternal death or Hell), but will walk in resurrected life with Jesus in Heaven when we die. But eternal life also refers to the capacity God gives us within our hearts to know Him.

We cannot have eternal life without receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior. And we cannot really get to know God without receiving eternal life through Jesus.

What is eternal life?
We have to live on earth the basics of the bible i.e love your neighbour as your self and do to others as you expect others to do to you. We have to qualify on earth for the Eternity bcos we are going to be with the king of kings and the lord of lords. He is going to take us to his glorious home where we will be there for eternity. We have to experience the eternal life on earth only then we would enjoy the heavenly eternal life otherwise we only watch what others are enjoying.Hope my answer may be of good use to others. eternal life is received by those who chose to receive jesus and live like jesus because when they die thier bodies will be buried by the soul with have life that will never die because they will not go to hell they will be jesus at the right hand of the heavenly father
