These are very powerful words. As simplistic as they seem, they are God revealing His nature to us through Jesus Christ who was humbled by death on the cross so that we as sinners would have access to God. That is why Jesus is called "Name Above All Names" and sits at the highest place in heaven, God's right hand.

It means, whoever is humble in heart will be glorified in heaven by God through grace & mercy and whoever has pride and arrogance, lifting themselves only will eventually be humbled by God through conviction.

Exalted = to lift urself up high.... humbled = to be brought down a few notches. therefore if you bring yourself up high you're going to be brought down a few notches and visa versa.

I think it means if you put yourself above others as being better than others you will be put to shame by God. If you are treat others as you would like to be treated he will recognize you as such ( a good person)

Whoever humbles themselves will be praised in heaven. But the one who exaltes them selfes has their satisfaction on earth. I believe it is like jesus said about the pharisees who pray out in the open and show off they had their reward with how people will now think about them.

We are not to think of ourselves more highly then others. For all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. When a man thinks he stand (pride) take heed lest he falls. We are to always remember even our rightenous is like filthy rags unto the Lord. We all need to be helpers one to another always making supplicatons for one another. for Jesus didn't come for the ones that are heald, but for the sick, and we all have been sin sick. Let us continue by faith to pray one for another. God Bless
