What did Jesus mean when He said one can live even if he dies? Bonus question: Why did Jesus weep when He knew He would raise Lazarus?

Jesus meant that there is life after death.

The scriptures tells us that Jesus took the flesh as us even though He was God ,so as man He was moved by the weepings of Lazarus sister and the people who came to mourn with Mary and Martha.

In what way is Jesus still with us always? How can we be assured of Hi s presence?

Jesus said He came to give life and give it abundantly.This abundant life,we live it daily whether we know it or not.The air we breath does not come from us,the food we eat is provided by Him etc.

What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus?

Peter found himself all alone no Jesus,no brothers and he sees Jesus the Master being seriously tormented.Peter at this juncture like every human being is discouraged and feels that his identification with Jesus will mean more torment than that of Jesus Himself.He denies not because he does not love Him but because of human weakness.Furthermore it was just to fulfill Jesus prophecy thus:"Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times''.
