If you`re a follower of Jesus, the Holy Spirit is in your life and He`s given you spiritual gifts. One day, the Bible says, we`re going to stand before God and have the opportunity to hear the God of the universe say to us:
Well done.
It`s worth spending some time thinking about that moment. Down here one hundred thousand people in the Rose Bowl go nuts over what a football team has done. Think about the God who made you, the God of the universe, looking you in the eye and saying:
Well done. Well done. Well done.
You want to live for that? I don`t want to go through life in the bleachers. I want to be faithful to God`s calling on my life. I want to develop the gifts that He`s given to me to the fullest extent that I can. I want to serve. I want to give with the stuff that He`s given to me. I want to encourage other people and cheer them on.
Everyone is so busy learning many things in their lives, huge books,thick pages, laws and technology! But the only answer for the thrist of knowledge is on the Book of God...the BIBLE. They dont know that God is the only answer for their ignorance. We must seek for the truth,and do not just wait for the answer! Ask God all we want to know. Read the bible and his words are the answers! Do not be afraid because as long as you believe and follow him, he will direct you to the path of life, will avoid the hell, and be in heaven with him. I thank him for his messages for us, yes there is hell, but praise God because he created heaven for those who obey... God bless everyone! Punishment for those who dont understand
I don't remember where in the Bible, but it does in fact say that when you don't understand something you aren't held accountable. But when you do understand and comprehend something then you become responsible. This to me means that innocent children must be forgiven for their mistakes but when they are taught that something they have done is immoral, then they become responsible and have the burden of doing right. This is why after learning about the fall of man in Genesis 1-11, should read Psalms and the New Testament to learn about Jesus the perfect sacrifice and savior. Also that God desires mercy not sacrifice. We don't have to sacrifice our lives, no suicide, no sacrificing children, animals, or other valuables. Instead give freely to others that you would have them give to you. Wash your brother, sister, and mother's feet. Help with chores, and when you go to serve God in another land, heal people in Jesus Christ's name.
I am a little confused with the concept of the forgiveness of sin and promised eternal life. Jesus says that if we accept him as our Saviour, we will have eternal life. However, as we are all guilty of sin, even after acknowledgment of Jesus as our Saviour and attempted obedience, does this invalidate our claim to eternal life. As a relatively new Christian I struggle with sin and stumble time and time again.
"The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers, and they will throw them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father."

"Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven."Matt 7:21
This is a very sobering thought right...if you read the full text Matt7:21-23 you will see even those who cast out demons in His name and prophecied in His name may be told to depart from Him...why you may ask?Because as He says "I never knew you"....Heaven and Hell are very real.Personally i dont want to hear those words " I never knew you" so i try to have an intimate relationship with Him...it is soo easy to get caught in doing sooo many wonderful things for Him and in His Name that you actually forget about Him in the process how do i know this?Because I have done it before,until the Holy Spirit laid it upon my heart to stop and acknowledge Him...stay connected to the True Vine to our Judge to our Saviour and let Him be Lord over every part of us and over all of our lives...He wants to know us intimately...

because of the emphasis on hell by your traditional Buddihism. You grow sick and tired of hell.Whereas interestingly you have become aware that your people are using Tengoku that means Heaven even in a Buddhistic funeral ceremony, which did not exist in your traditional language.Though there is Jodo or Gokuraku like Heaven but in the strict sense of the word radically different from Heaven.Anyway almost all your people have gloomy hell imprinted by traditional culture in their mind.You are one of them. I HATE THE IDEA THAT WHEN WE REPENT AND ASK GOD FOR FORGIVENESS NOW. THAT WE ANSWER AGAIN FOR THAT SIN.ON EARTH WHEN WE PRAY FOR FORGIVENESS HE LISTENS NOW.
