Love your neighbor like you love yourself

Love sums up all that Jesus and the father command.

Does this mean bring food to your neighbor? Or does this mean give your neighbor their space? Maybe both? And don't rush into relationships? That's how I like to be loved. A rushed relationship gets very confusing. For me, every day is a new day and I question what I'm supposed to do for family and if neighbors come around, I try my best to be loving and friendly. This seems to be the best I can do. Oh and when people lose their homes to disaster I give goods or money.

Teachings of Jesus: Money: Charity Not Greed
The teaching about Money : Charity Vs Greed. In this world which are temporarily, we are to work as what we need not to work to gain richness of life for richness of life comes through blessing from God and fulfillment of soul with God`s Love and Blessing. In this wicked world we are to give and what we have received, Love is a gift from God which we have received and are to give to those poor in soul.

Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30)
The promise of this parable is that when we do invest in God`s kingdom the result is that we have joy. The master says this interesting thing to the five and the two talent guy. He says, "Enter your master`s joy." The reward for investing in the kingdom is joy. Because when we do, it gets us out of ourselves and life becomes something bigger than just me, my wants, my needs, my stuff, my comfort, my my. Oh my my. Life expands to be about how I get to work side by side with Jesus in making up there come down here. Me. Little old angst ridden, fear driven, insecure, one talent me, gets to partner with Jesus in making his kingdom prayer come true in making his will get done on earth, here, as it is in heaven. Me, little old me gets to do that. Not bad for a hick from the sticks from Eastern Washington.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." ( Matthew 6:19-21)

"You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me." ( Mark 10:21)

"Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions." ( Luke 12:15)

"The land of a rich man produced abundantly. And he thought to himself, 'What should I do, for I have no place to store my crops?' Then he said, ' I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.' But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you. And the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' So it is with those who store up treasures for themselves but are not rich toward God." ( Luke 12:16-21)

"Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you." ( John 6:27)
