Donkey Riding
Jesus came to Isreal riding a donkey reminds me of the many donkey songs that exist in th world.  But,none approach the beaty, holiness and grace of watching the son of God come in so peacefully and  and quietly into Jerusalem.  So humble, yet so mighty a King there has never been or never will be again!!!  Amen!!!

The Triumphal Entry
Jesus throughout his ministry preached humility. He told his disciples that he who must lead must consider himself a servant of the people. Despite his humility the people thronged out to receive him as king. Which was a sign of victory oer his persecutors.

Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem?
Well, as prophesies, Jesus choose to enter Jerusalem in a humble way is to teach us what humble lifestyles we ought to be. If Jesus, the son of God is so humble, we must follow the footstep of how humble is. Many people like to show off what they have..Branded cars, branded clothes but yet in their heart.. emptiness. How the multitide are so happy and simple and their hearts are so simple but to many people nowadays are so unhappy because they are very branded conscious, Jesus shows us that only the Humble people can enter the Kingdom of God.

Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem?
Jesus rode on the donkey because he wanted to fulfill what has been prophesied earlier. He wanted to show the humility to the followers of his as the donkey is known for the humility and burden bearing.

Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem?
Jesus chose this humble entrance in order to fulfill the prophesy of Zechariah 9:9. I wonder what thoughts were going through His amazing mind at this time precipitating His death and resurrection? The emotions in the air all about Him were so mixed; some jubilant and joyful, with hope for an eternal life while others were of hate and fear and designs of a cruel death.

The Triumphal Entry

On the next day a great multitude had come to the feast. When they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, they took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet him, and cried out, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!"
Jesus, having found a young donkey, sat on it. As it is written, "Don't be afraid, daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey's colt." His disciples didn't understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things to him. The multitude therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb, and raised him from the dead, was testifying about it. For this cause also the multitude went and met him, because they heard that he had done this sign. The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, "See how you accomplish nothing. Behold, the world has gone after him."
