Jesus shows compassion in this remarkable event. I think Jesus was trying to make us believers in him and have faith in him even in the darkest of times. My question is???? If it is NOT Jesus's (God;s will) how do we continue to believe. If Jesus saved and brought back to life this young man, how can others not be saved? Especially the ones we love? Is it we are not worthy? Is it Jesus wanted them in heaven, will we ever understand this concept, well will I? Did I pray the wrong way, Did God just not hear me? Sorry, I have had much difficulty losing my mom, with all my prayers and hopes and faith and belief in Jesus, he took her away.
Jesus, travelling with the multitude and some of the disciples, nears Nania, where the dead son of a widow is being brought out. He sees the mother weeping, and restores life to her son. The crowd proclaims that 'God has visited his people!', and they spread word of this miracle far and wide. By: Richard Warren - May 03, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus Raises a Widow`s Son

The Miracles He shares with people like the widow's son is just an example of the kindness and care Jesus has for those who need it. We should all take this story to heart. God bless the world and everyone it. Amen!!
How much do you think Jesus felt the emotional pain of those around him?
jesus not only the emotional pain of all those around him, he even felt their physical pain and knew all the pains of those on earth be them around him or far, and all those who were judged for eternal damnation.this feeling of the pain people suffered and that were bound to suffer upon their death was the reason why he was on earth , to teach them to repent and turn away from sin which is at the root of all pain and misery on earth By: Annie Goetcheryan - May 16, 2007 - Public Category: Jesus Raises a Widow`s Son

How much do you think Jesus felt the emotional pain of those around him?
I believe that Jesus was so empathic, that he actually felt all the pain that the people were going through. By: Susan Fry - May 05, 2007 - Public Category: Jesus Raises a Widow`s Son
It happened soon
afterwards, that he went to a city called Nain. Many of his disciples,
along with a great multitude, went with him. Now when he drew near to the gate
of the city, behold, one who was dead was carried out, the only son of his
mother, and she was a widow. Many people of the city were with her.
When the Lord saw her, he
had compassion on her, and said to her, "Don't
cry." He came
near and touched the coffin, and the bearers stood still. He said, "Young man, I tell you, arise!" He who was dead sat up, and began
to speak. And he gave him to his mother.
Fear took hold of all,
and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among
us!" and, "God has visited his people!" This report went out concerning
him in the whole of Judea, and in all the surrounding region.
