I myself was a cancer survivor, I've been diagnosed last 4 years ago of rectal cancer stage II. I beleived He healed me. I have strong faith on him. Although I'm wearing colostomy my faith in HIM is growing. I was forgiven for all the repitition sins I have made.
I thank him everything I have now, surviving, wtih 2 nice young sons and a loving wife and blessings poured out within us.
I believe in Jesus and His Grace. Why am I having such a hard time forgiving myself for the sins of my past? I want to accept forgiveness and go on to a new life in Christ....Why is my past hounding me? I am 72 years old and would like to know that I have been forgiven. Especially for not forgiving my husband who had an indescretion and I left him. I wanted us to work out, but he then moved in with another woman. He died 3 years later at the age of 49 and my life has been a struggle ever since. I know the divorce hurt everyone but I couldnt believe that it was happening to us. As a result of wanting to punish him, I hurt me and my children. But, I have asked for forgiveness and I just dont feel forgiven????

Why did Jesus first forgive the paralytic`s sins, and only later heal him? What lesson was he trying to communicate?
Jesus was teaching that it was more important to forgive the sins of the past than to heal the physical body. The body will die at some time, however the spirit will live on forever, thus it is most important that men and women recognize that they are sinners and ask for forgivness from the Lord. What is the motive of jesus to heal a paralytic man. How we are confirmed regarding our sins are forgiven?
Why did Jesus forive the paralytics sins, and only later heal him? What lesson was he trying to communicate?
Jesus makes a huge statement when he tells the paralytic that he is forgiven first. By bringing attention to the situation, speaking for God, and then demonstrating the healing that is possible from the act of forgiveness one must ask "For what do I need to be forgiven"?
Why did Jesus first forgive the paralytic`s sins, and only later heal him? What lesson was he trying to communicate?
Jesus first forgive the paralytic sins so that the scribes would question his authority and later he heal the paralytic to proved the son of man have authority on earth.

I think it is because he wanted the people to understand that forgiveness is more important than health, your relationship with God comes first and then you can have phsyical healing after you have spirtual healing. He also wanted to glorify the Lord by showing that he was capable of forgiving the mans sin and also healing him because he is God`s son. I think once Jesus he forgave him he was healed, but because the scribes didnt think that alone would not heal the man.. They wanted to hear Jesus tells the man to get up and walk. which is what he did. Being that Jesus actually said it and it was done. They believed that more. He entered into a boat,
and crossed over, and came into his own city. Behold, they brought to him a man
who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the
paralytic, "Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven
you." Behold, some of the
scribes said to themselves, "This man blasphemes."
Jesus, knowing their
thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your
hearts? For which is
easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven;' or to say, 'Get up, and walk?'
But that you may know that
the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..."
(then he said to the paralytic), "Get up, and take up
your mat, and go up to your house." He arose and departed
to his house. But when the
multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such
authority to men.
