Why was the king so angry when those invited did not come to the wedding banquet? What point was Jesus making with this parable?

Jesus is telling us that, despite that we are called, we MUST do the will of God. Never acts otherwise be/cos you are now a man of God that will not give you the priorty to misbehave NO!!!!!!! If you are called means that you are equal to others.

Why was the Kingdom of God taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees?

They rejected the son of God and killed Him. Any one living in sin today be ye believer or an unbeliever is a pharisees. A believer here means chief priest. that is one who continued to live in sin after accepting Jesus While pharisees means a typical unbeliever, who is not yet converted. Therefore, we should be careful so as to inherit the Kingdom of God.

What made Jesus` teaching so attactive to tax collectors and prostitutes?

It simply means that Jesus did not condemned them rather using them as an example to you and me to be careful so that we will not suffer all these and finally we are no where to be found in the kingdom of God. Again as a minister of God nver one day condem the unbelivers but call them to God for Jesus said in matthieu 11:28 come all you that are laboured that I will give you rest, means no matter your condition, your in sin or not come to me with it.
