Why did Jesus answer a question with a question, rather than just telling the Pharisees by what authority He acted? He did because he knew the power brain of the Pharises behind the question
and Jesus did not want mere men of books to tempt his intergrity.

What lesson do you think Jesus taught the disciples by cursing the fig tree? The lesson Jesus was teaching his disciples that a tree is not usefull when it does not bear fruit and that needs to be cast out.
Meaning that as a disciple your job is to preach the word and make it know so if you dont do what is expected of you you will be like what Jesus did to the fig tree
