Why did the multitude want Barabbas released rather than Jesus? Barabbas is one of them. Secondly, Jesus have been totally misplaced before the multitude as calling Himself the Son of God while they don`t what that stand for. Because they perceived God did not have or bore any child.

Why did the soldiers mock Jesus? Soldiers ''like sins'' were trained to kill. They don`t have respect for anybody even their father. So, they seen nothing wrong in making jester of Christ because they are working for the King of the world.
