What did Judas gain by betraying Jesus?
Judas did not gain anything materialwise. But, for the scripture to be fulfilled, somebody must do what he did. Therefore, only God can judge him for what he did.

What did Judas gain by betraying Jesus?
Judas totally gained nothing apart from hanging himself. Truly the wages of sin is death. Judas sined against God as a result he hanged himself. I believes and trust that truly Jesus is innocent man who came with the might mission to serve all mankind.Anyway, whatever was done here was to fulfill the old testament prophets.Wth the blood of Jesus we have enternal life. God bless you all!!!!

What did Judas gain by betraying Jesus?
I think Judas was confused. When Jesus came to the apostles, he thought that He would be a great leader, someone that would take control and set things right. ''A warrior and a King'' In Judas` mind, he could have thought that by handing Jesus over to the chief priests and elders, that it would force Jesus to take on this role; rather than the meek little lamb that Jesus currently was. '' I really don`t think Judas realized that there would be a second coming of Christ.'' When Judas saw that Jesus was condemned and that He was not fighting back, he felt great remorse. I think this is when it finally hit Judas that Jesus was actually going to die. Until this point, Judas thought that Jesus would call upon His Father or the angels to save Himself. How heavy was Judas` heart, how much pain did he feel for giving up on someone who he loved so dearly, how dirty did he feel receiving silver for his act of betrayal and how could he live with all these feelings? Do I condemn Judas for his actions? No, I pity him. Never judge another soul, for you do not know their intentions, only God Himself can know these things.

What Did Judas Gain
He got the pieces of silver, but after that he regretted same as Peter when he denied Jesus for 3 times. But different with Peter, Judas kill hmself by hung himself on a tree, but Peter didn`t hang himself, but cry and ask mercy from the God. we always make a mistake and sins in ourlives but Lord teach us to become like Peter, not like Judas, Even if we have a black sin God will open his hands of forgiving for us, cause He is a love for the first time

What did Judas gain by betraying Jesus?
When wicked, deceitful, betrayal acts are committed, the consequences are blinded by worldly things ''greed, money, pride, etc.'', but all must answer for such acts. Judas' influence by Satan and rebellion with God includes his betrayal of Christ for 30 silver pieces; then confessing that he sinned against innocent blood, but the confession is rebellious, because it was not a confession to God. Judas continues to rebel by taking things in his own hands and hangs himself. No salvation, no heaven.

What did Judas gain by betraying Jesus?
Judas Iscariot is a loophole for the realisation of the mission of Christ. It is gain for Christ who was condemned to death through the betrayal of Judas Iscariot and man whose sins are borne away through it..The mission of Christ is known to have been accomplished through it.The person of Judas was in the plan of God for the death and resrrection of Christ. I''Judas is included when Christ said;`Father forgive them ... 2''Judas act was in fulfillment of the sciptures, viz;Prophet Jeremiah. 3''He suffered shame and suicide. His meeting with the chief priest and elders could not reverse his error, he repented late in our own eyes unfortunately he hanged himself but surely Christ forgive him. Never the less, if Judas did not betray Christ the way he did, which other better manner could the salvation of man be obtained having been already mandated by the Creator Himself? Potter`s field bought with the 30 pieces of silver continues a permanent reminder of man`s inability to cover sin.

What did Judas gain by betraying Jesus?
Judas didn`t gain any thing but damnation for betraying Jesus. He realized that he made a very big mistake and tried to correct it by giving back the 30 pieces of silver. But it was to late and he hung himself for shedding innocent blood. Thank You! Lord Jesus for going to the cross for us sinners and redeeming us through your blood. Amen!

Judas Hangs Himself

Now when morning had come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: and they bound him, and led him away, and delivered him up to Pontius Pilate, the governor. Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that Jesus was condemned, felt remorse, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, "I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood."
But they said, "What is that to us? You see to it."
He threw down the pieces of silver in the sanctuary, and departed. He went away and hanged himself. The chief priests took the pieces of silver, and said, "It's not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood." They took counsel, and bought the potter's field with them, to bury strangers in. Therefore that field was called "The Field of Blood" to this day. Then that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying,
"They took the thirty pieces of silver,
the price of him upon whom a price had been set,
whom some of the children of Israel priced,
and they gave them for the potter's field,
as the Lord commanded me."
