What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus?
Peter was afrais because of violent prosecution that Jesus was undergoing at the time.He was afraid that the same treatment would be metted out to him if identified with Jesus. People in the world today still fear to be identified with Jesus because they fear they will be prosecuted, laughed at or considered abnormal. The world then did not believe nor acceot Jesus. The world today still does not believed nor accept Jesus.

People today, afraid to be identified with Christ because of their background. Somebody who comes out from cults will takes sometimes before be could identified himself with new found religion - CHRIST. With the grace of God, as time goes on, such a person''s'' will be very bold to ascertain their faith in CHRIST.
