Now that I have opened the door of my heart I want to ask for his forgiveness for my sins and I want him to stay in my heart always, also do not give up on the rest of the world for there are many like me who are ignoring his knock, but who will eventually open the door to him. How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment? Being itimate and obedient to Jesus is most satisfying. I f you love someone deeply it is obvious that you will do everything to please him and being with him would make you feel joy, happiness and comfort.

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Even in Jesus times he realise that we sometimes needs The Law to keep us grounded, therefore in order that we may take heed of this he made it a new commandment.
