183 entries for this category: God so loved the world he gave his only Son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3;16-17. Imagine that God our father sending his son Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that we can be saved and then many times over and over in passages in the bible states that God forgives us for our sins, one cannot help but have love for God. Countless times you fall a victim to sin and you are assured that you will be forgiven by God, shouldn't you naturally love God unconditionally? Sometimes when face with a situation where you are tempted to commit a sin or do something that you know is wrong we go ahead and still do it, then we ask God to forgives us when the full realisation hits us. That peace you feel knowing God has forgiven you can only be described as everlasting love for God. How do Jesus` words make you feel? You may want to save your answer as "Private" Jesus words comfort me. It makes me feel that there is hope in my future and that I can achieve anything once I believe in him. I t makes me feel that once my faith is strong in times of trouble I will weather the storm. It makes me feel alive and not worry about the hard times that we are facing in these times. He makes me feel loved. His words make me realize that I was not put on this earth to mere exist but to live a full life loving my neighbours, showing love to all, keeping his commandements. When I think of Jesus words I shake my head, in order words I am saying to myself Lord I am so happy I have decided to accept God into my life, though I know I am just at the beginning, just taking baby steps, I am eager to continuing on this journery for I know more and more will be revealed and I will be at a place where I will be truly find peace joy and happiness.
