Jesus 101

Jesus was a simple man living among us. He was born of the Virgin Mary. He served the people and taught them how to love and how to live in accordance with God. He performed great miracles and captivated many a crowd with His teachings. He healed the sick and gave hope to the weak. He was envied by many of the "great" leaders of the time and as such was accused of blasphemy and sentenced to death. He died on the cross but was raised from the dead in three days. The "great" leaders of the time, tried to cover this up by accusing His disciples of stealing his body. Some believed this to be true but many didn't. To this day Jesus is celebrated and remembered as the Son of God, a great leader, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is recognized as and believed to be the Trinity, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 2000 years later He is still revered and remembered for what He did for us, dying on the cross and freeing us of eternal damnation. It is now up to us to take the path that will lead us to Him.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.

everyone makes mistakes and therefore should be forgiven. God has promised us forgiveness once we ask for it because he knows this fact and he is a God of Compassion. One of his messages was to love one another just as he loves us. By asking Him to forgive us our sins, this shows that we ourselves have love for our Father because it hurts us to know that we've disobeyed Him, and will go through any measures necessary to gain His forgiveness. By asking God for forgiveness, He forgives us. Knowing that we have been forgiven, this builds our relationship with Him stronger and we are more dependant on Him, therefore we trust, love, talk, listen to and have faith in Him more.

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"

Being Loved by GOD is a love that no human can ever give to you. GOD's love is so great for the world that he gave his one and only son to die for us(the world) so that we might believe. HIS love is so strong that he would do everything to protect us and not let anything or anyone take us away from Him if we love and obey His word.
