Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? HE CAME TO EARTH AS A MAN AND HE HAD TO EXPERIENCE EVERY THING AS A MAN. HENCE THE PAIN

His emotional and physical pais are to remind us as humanbengs we too also may have to suffer humiliation.at times we would believe that all creation is aganist us and what penalties do we have to endure gor our misgivings.
