What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? This lesson gave me a better view of how things were backj then but what stood out the most was the fact that women were not given much free will. it must have been really hard to be a follower of Christ as a woman.

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? What stands out to me from Jesus` background, is the fact that He knew what He had come to accomplish and focus on His mission, from a tender age He submitted to His heavenly Father. Nothing hinder Him. He lived a humbled life submitting to his earthly parents.
