Since we have God`s promise of support, why do we still worry?

Yes why do we worry? it`s moments when worries concerns overwhelm us...but we should keep these words in mind and when we feel bogged down grab tightly the crucifix we are wearing and let it help us emerge. Faith...Hope Faith and Hope in the Charity the boundless love that God has for us. Think of the lilies...thank you Jesus.

What is so good about fasting? Why fast?

It`s the joy of feeding mainly on the Lord curbing earthly appetites. Losing ourselves in the Lord and in prayesr. Again not showing off how much we are suffering physically - looking drawn and and making a eartlhy show of it putting the focus on earthly needs - but truly learning to renounce or at least control to the the craving of the self in total abandonment to the Lord. All the rest being given it`s relative God centered importance and not being a chain of enslavement any more. Free to raise to God with our spiritually strong wings not burdened by the physical ones. That cannot raise us to Him.
