Why is it helpful to confront a brother alone first, before involving others in confronting him? Maybe the brother doesn`t know what they`re doing is wrong. Instead of embarassing them in front of a group, spare their feelings and pray they change.

Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? Jesus had to represent the human race in order that all the evils of mankind are placed upon him. Jesus is paying the penalty for mankinds sins and therefor has to include both physical and emotional pain. It is what mankind can relate to
