约翰所著的耶稣传记——耶稣治好大臣的儿子 过了那两天，耶稣离了那地方，往加利利去。 (4:43) 因为耶稣自己作过见证说，先知在本地是没有人尊敬的。 (4:44) 到了加利利，加利利人既然看见他在耶路撒冷过节所行的一切事，就接待他。因为他们也是上去过节。 (4:45) 耶稣又到了加利利的迦拿，就是他从前变水为酒的地方。有一个大臣，他的儿子在迦百农患病。 (4:46) 他听见耶稣从犹太到了加利利，就来见他，求他下去医治他的儿子。因为他儿子快要死了。 (4:47) 耶稣就对他说，若不看见神迹奇事，你们总是不信。 (4:48) 那大臣说，先生，求你趁着我的孩子还没有死，就下去。 (4:49) 耶稣对他说，回去吧。你的儿子活了。那人信耶稣所说的话，就回去了。 (4:50) 正下去的时候，他的仆人迎见他，说，他的儿子活了。 (4:51) 他就问什么时候见好的。他们说，昨日未时热就退了。 (4:52) 他便知道这正是耶稣对他说，你儿子活了的时候，他自己和全家就都信了。 (4:53) 这是耶稣在加利利行的第二件神迹，是他从犹太回去以后行的。 (4:54) 约翰 4:43-54

Jesus Heals the Official's Son
After the two days he went out from there and went into Galilee. For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. So when he came into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast. Jesus came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water into wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to him, and begged him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Jesus therefore said to him, "Unless you see signs and wonders, you will in no way believe." The nobleman said to him, "Sir, come down before my child dies." Jesus said to him, "Go your way. Your son lives." The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. As he was now going down, his servants met him and reported, saying "Your child lives!" So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour, the fever left him." So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, "Your son lives." He believed, as did his whole house. This is again the second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judea into Galilee. John 4:43-54
