马可所著的耶稣传记——治好盲人巴底买 到了耶利哥。耶稣同门徒并许多人出耶利哥的时候，有一个讨饭的瞎子，是底买的儿子巴底买，坐在路旁。 (10:46) 他听见是拿撒勒的耶稣，就喊着说，大卫的子孙耶稣阿，可怜我吧。 (10:47) 有许多人责备他，不许他作声，他却越发大声喊着说，大卫的子孙哪，可怜我吧。 (10:48) 耶稣就站住，说，叫过他来。他们就叫那瞎子，对他说，放心，起来，他叫你啦。 (10:49) 瞎子就丢下衣服，跳起来，走到耶稣那里。 (10:50) 耶稣说，要我为你作什么。瞎子说，拉波尼，我要能看见。（拉波尼就是夫子） (10:51) 耶稣说，你去吧。你的信救了你了。瞎子立刻看见了，就在路上跟随耶稣。 (10:52) 马可 10:46-52

Blind Bartimaeus Receives His Sight
They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road. When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, "Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!" Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, "You son of David, have mercy on me!" Jesus stood still, and said, "Call him." They called the blind man, saying to him, "Cheer up! Get up. He is calling you!" He, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus. Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said to him, "Rhabboni, that I may see again." Jesus said to him, "Go your way. Your faith has made you well." Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. Mark 10:46-52
