路加所著的耶稣传记——耶稣的安葬 有一个人名叫约瑟，是个议士，为人善良公义。 (23:50) 众人所谋所为，他并没有附从。他本是犹太亚利马太城里素常盼望神国的人。 (23:51) 这人去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体。 (23:52) 就取下来用细麻布裹好，安放在石头凿成的坟墓里，那里头从来没有葬过人。 (23:53) 那日是预备日，安息日也快到了。 (23:54) 那些从加利利和耶稣同来的妇女，跟在后面，看见了坟墓，和他的身体怎样安放。 (23:55) 她们就回去，预备了香料香膏。她们在安息日，便遵着诫命安息了。 (23:56) 路加 23:50-56

Jesus' Burial
Behold, a man named Joseph, who was a member of the council, a good and righteous man (he had not consented to their counsel and deed), from Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who was also waiting for the Kingdom of God: this man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus' body. He took it down, and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb that was cut in stone, where no one had ever been laid. It was the day of the Preparation, and the Sabbath was drawing near. The women, who had come with him out of Galilee, followed after, and saw the tomb, and how his body was laid. They returned, and prepared spices and ointments. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment. Luke 23:50-56
