马可所著的耶稣传记——耶稣在彼拉多面前受审 一到早晨，祭司长和长老文士全公会的人大家商议，就把耶稣捆绑解去，交给彼拉多。 (15:1) 彼拉多问他说，你是犹太人的王吗？耶稣回答说，你说的是。 (15:2) 祭司长告他许多的事。 (15:3) 彼拉多又问他说，你看，他们告你这么多的事，你什么都不回答吗？ (15:4) 耶稣仍不回答，以致彼拉多觉得希奇。 (15:5) 每逢这节期，巡抚照众人所求的，释放一个囚犯给他们。 (15:6) 有一个人名叫巴拉巴，和作乱的人一同捆绑。他们作乱的时候，曾杀过人。 (15:7) 众人上去求巡抚，照常例给他们办。 (15:8) 彼拉多说，你们要我释放犹太人的王给你们吗？ (15:9) 他原晓得祭司长是因为嫉妒才把耶稣解了来。 (15:10) 只是祭司长挑唆众人，宁可释放巴拉巴给他们。 (15:11) 彼拉多又说，那么样你们所称为犹太人的王，我怎么办他呢？ (15:12) 他们又喊着说，把他钉十字架。 (15:13) 彼拉多说，为什么呢？他作了什么恶事呢？他们便极力地喊着说，把他钉十字架。 (15:14) 彼拉多要叫众人喜悦，就释放巴拉巴给他们，将耶稣鞭打了，交给人钉十字架。 (15:15) 马可 15:1-15

Jesus Before Pilate
Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate. Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered, "So you say." The chief priests accused him of many things. Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you!" But Jesus made no further answer, so that Pilate marveled. Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they asked of him. There was one called Barabbas, bound with those who had made insurrection, men who in the insurrection had committed murder. The multitude, crying aloud, began to ask him to do as he always did for them. Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?" For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up. But the chief priests stirred up the multitude, that he should release Barabbas to them instead. Pilate again asked them, "What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?" They cried out again, "Crucify him!" Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they cried out exceedingly, "Crucify him!" Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified. Mark 15:1-15
