马太所著的耶稣传记——耶稣医好许多病人 耶稣到了彼得家里，见彼得的岳母害热病躺着。 (8:14) 耶稣把她的手一摸，热就退了。她就起来服事耶稣。 (8:15) 到了晚上，有人带着许多被鬼附的，来到耶稣跟前，他只用一句话，就把鬼都赶出去。并且治好了一切有病的人。 (8:16) 这是要应验先知以赛亚的话，说，他代替我们的软弱，担当我们的疾病。 (8:17) 马太 8:14-17

Jesus Heals Many
When Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him. When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases." Matthew 8:14-17
