How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?
If you really love someone and know this person very well, surely you will live in such a way that is pleasing to that special person. Jesus asked the same, If someone says he ''she'' loves Jesus, then he ''she'' must live in such a way that is pleasing to Him.

This is not a new commandment, basically its the key part of the relationship paid for by the blood of Jesus. Jesus died so that we can have this kind of relationship with God, so make full use of it... We are to become like Jesus and the best way is to study carefully his works, words and character and pattern lour daily lives after the same. Develop a dependency on Jesus and have a very strong relationship with the Lord, seeking him FIRST in all things, makinf him the source of all things. This is intimacy, this is what Jesus means when he said `the father and i will come and live in you Transformation befins from within and thereby streams of living waters flow.. remember Jesus is the life the source and the way. To have intimacy with Jesus is to have a love-love relationship with him. You love him, and he loves you. Both of you are friends, trusting one another. Jesus says that the one who has his commandments, and keeps them, that is the one who loves him. He assures us that both him, and his Father would love such a person too. This is the essence of what he meant that...If you love me, keep my Commandments, and the Commandment is To love God with all your heart, mind, strength, and to love one another. By this people shall know that we belong to Him.In summary, therefore : To love Jesus Christ, and to obey his Commands are synonymous.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
Firstly I will thank the Lord for his love for all mankind despite our wicked and selfish nature. I will thank him for the plan of redemption and edification and then seek to uderstand the gospel in order to present it very effectively to the world. Finally i will thank hin for the privilige of having a relationship with him and reaffirm my comminment to his ways.

If i had on one meal with jesus, first i`ll ask him for giveness second i`ll thank Him for his love and than we`ll discuss about kingdom of God and then i`ll ask him wisdom and gress so as i can live my life for holyness

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
At first it would seem entirely hard, trying to tell a Master who knows you in and out exactly what you are. In Him, there is no darkness-remember. But on second thought, I would really take him for what He is: The Lord and Savior. Firstly, He is standing at the door of my heart, patiently waiting for me to open up. I would therefore open it all to him: My life, job, marriage, relatives, health, even politics. Secondly, I would love to tell him about my heavy loads of burdens, because I know I will be left with His lighter and easy load at the end of it all. There is no need to hide any sickness or symptom from a Doctor I trust to keep privacy, and to heal me completely. Thirdly, I know dining with the lord and Master, would lead me into eternal dining-- bread and water for life. I would listen very attentively whatever came from his lips, knowing fully well that God`s word shall never go in vain. Lastly, it would really be upon me to abide by his commandments-words. This shall be my love to him, and I know He shall love me more. And God the Father shall also love me more. Finally, I would always remember to give him thanks and continue in the path he sets me on.

Jesus says that by obeying his commandments, you indicate that you love him.Anyone who has a friend, would like to know the likes and dislikes of that friend, and after knowing him, he does what is good and helpful for their friendship.In the same way, we have to to be obedient to Jesus, since he is our Master, our teacher, our shepherd and friend.This is a new commandment because in the past the aspect of intimacy with god was not visible, especially in the Old testament where God was feared and sometimes spoke through mediators. A personal relationship of one to one is new.

there is always a promise or a reward of being obedient to him, in rev.3;20 says if anyone hears....open the door. there is an action or a progress of the second party. in john7:37 says come to me. the same there is a movement that means u need to follow first before the blessings.....

I will tell him that I love him , and I will ask him not to take holy spirit from me until I live in Earth , b/c I feel nil with out holy spirit, and 2nd I will ask him his wisdom.Finally I will sit under his leg and I will listen all that it come out from his tongue .
