How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?
If you love someone, you listen to him, and delight in doing things that please him or are in accordance with his goals. So it is with Jesus. And in His love, the things He asks us to do actually bring blessing into our lives. A life spent in loving, serving others, acting unselfishly, is a life filled with joy, satisfaction and fulfilment. A life spent in learning to know, love, obey, and enjoy God more and more is a life that has satisfied the longing of its soul.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
Oh, just to imagine being face-to-face with Him fills me with sweet joy! I think, first of all, that I would be overwhelmed by His all-seeing, all-forgiving, tender love. I imagine I would be speechless with awe, gratitude, love and wonder. Gradually though, I`m sure I would want to ask Him about the hard questions of life: why do the innocent suffer and die, how can believers fight most effectively against evil in this world, how do we live lives of justice and compassion for the suffering without getting completely exhausted ourselves..... and I would ask Him about what my purpose is in His plan, and how I can best carry it out. Still, as I muse over all these questions, I sense the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit whispering--Just trust Me, child. Trust and obey. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. '' Proverbs 3:5-6'' Perhaps life is not about getting all these answers, but just learning to walk through life, trusting Him, knowing Him better each day, and obeying His word.

How can I be more patient and let Jesus do His work on my husband, whom I love so much. How will I know that I am not asking Him for selfish reasons?

If I had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
After giving Him praise, honor and gratitude, I would discuss all his people that are hurting and need Him but do not know Him. I would ask Him to use me if I could be of help but I need Him to be with me always because without Him I cannot do nothing. I would also discuss my personal relation with Him. Then I would ask Him to please start with my family he gave me on this His earth and I love so much but are hurting and if He would allow me to ask Him in so they can really know Him that He is Love. I believe that with the help of The Holy Spirit they will truely love Him and would willingly let Him in their hearts.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
I really don`t think there would any discussion at all unless he were to ask me a question. I would simply sit there gazing at him in awe and of course praising him over and over.!!!

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
I would ask Jesus many questions of the bible and ask him about his life and see how its different from mine. I would also ask Jesus how can God change the world and how we can make more people love Jesus and get to know him better. I want people to know that God is the only one who can save them if they just believe and start going to a church they can trust.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
I would discuss first and foremost forgiveness of sins. I would thank him for the life that I have received. I would thank him for giving us salvation. There are just so many questions I would have for him.
