How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?
Jesus means here if you keep and obey his commadments he can be a close friend to you because his friendship goes with obidience and he can do any kind of thing to us , just to obey and believe in him. he is gentle and humble in his heart, hesaid Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and i will give you rest... matthew 11;28-30

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
i would probably discuss about heaven and salvation, judgment and forgiveness of sin. I would also like to discuss about love and what it is to follow Jesus.

If i had a one-on one meal with Jesus it would be great for me , our discussion would run like this: i would ask him to open my spiritual eyes and ears and understanding so that i may see the secrets of the kingdom of God. And i will serve him as he wants of course with his wisdom upon me, in fact i wnt meet my Lord Jesus

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
I would ask Jesus to forgive my enemies first, then ask him to pardon the world for their many many sins, seek advice on how to pray for others especially the non believers and ask for the Gift of the Holy Spirit to be showered upon all those who blasphemy him, so that the Veil from their eyes, minds and hearts would fall and that they could see the Truth in Jesus. I would want all of God Children to have Riches in Heaven and belive in the Kingdom of GOD as the right place for every child of GOD. I would also ask mercy for those who are poor, hungered & have not food nor water to drink, those who are plagued with sicknesses and those who are to die soon that they would be able to be in the Kingdom of GOD, and Last would ask that every one would receive the True Guidence of the Holy Spirit that he may be with me forever, --the Spirit of truth.

well, Jesus is all knowing GOD, and Omniscient God, Most powerfull, and the alpha and the Omega, therefore he can link to anyone who has obedience to Jesus thru his Holy Spirit, angels and other means want.

well, if that happen to me, first i will ask him, why he will going to harden the heart of every person who didn`t beleive and receive his gospel? second, i will simply listen to him talking anything he wants to share to me.

Jesus does link intimacy to him with obedience to him through the love and the confidence towards the world. H e shows his love by several miracles and his confidence by his thruth. He shown to his disciples that he is the truth as he fullfil all his promises he made for them. For example he told them that he will send them th eholy spirit and he did it, he also told them before his died on the cross that he will die to save the world and the disciples saw the day of his death he also told them that he will resurrect so many things happened and proven the truth, the kindness, the true love and the good man Jesus was.

Jesus commands us that if we truly love Him dearly, we should obey His commandments & please Him. We should fulfill these wishes not out of fear but out of our love for our Lord, just like we would do anything for those whom we love most dearly here on earth.
