How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?
Unless, we obey Jesus and followed Him faithfully, we cannot get close to Him.To know Him more intimately, we should constantly be carrying our own cross and following Him every day.If we love Jesus, we should first obey His commandments and in return, we will be loved by the Father and Jesus Himself.If we want to have Jesus in our lives, we should first open ourselves to Him and only then, He will come to us and abide in us.He is the stem and we are the branches; so unless we remain in Him, we are not a part of His body.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
If I ever had the opportunity, first, I shall thank Him for the honour and thank Him for the Cross.Next, I would take the time to discuss with Him about the gay church and the gay community. The next topic will be His relationship with Mary Magdalene.

intimacy and obedience
constant closeness to Jesus is knowing his words and works . Knowing Jesus words is abiding his law and practicing it. and by practicing his words is being obedient to our Lord Jesus.

one on one meal with jesus
if i would have a chance to dine with Jesus first, i would feel his presence and embrace HIm and tell Him tha I love him and that I will ask forgiveness for my sins and thank him for all His blessings. I will ask for his guidance and protect me from all harms and most of all i will sing Him a song praising him and adoring him. for i know that having dinner with Him and talking to Him face to face is the greatest thing that could ever happen in my life.

I really don`t know what I would discuss. I think initially all I would love to do, is just listen. Absorb and feel the love that emits from Him. Learn, and pass the knowledge that He teaches me. If any words emitted from my mouth, it would be a million thank you`s and words of praise for all that He has done, and all that remains for Him to do....and of course, a million I Love You`s

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?`` a ``New`` commandment?
In order to show obedience to Him, you must be willing to show intimacy to Him. In showing intimacy you have to lay down all facades of yourself. You must strip yourself of the act that you put in front of others and be real with God. You have to show humility by putting Jesus first, others second, and yourself last.

I don`t feel a strong drawing towards God. I know there some because I am hear. Is there away to feel the comfort and passion for christ. Is there something I am missing.

Intimacy to Him as when we pray in spirit and in His presence. We are speaking secret to God. No one or even the evil could understand.

I will be thankful to Jesus for He is the Almighty and yet can sit and have a meal with me. Just could not imagine how. What I will discuss is how to understand the Word when I read them. The BIBLE is the Word of God.
