Invite Me to be Close to You

Jesus taught us to LOVE everyone unconditionally because he loved us so. He had to pay his life to save us..that is his love.Once we know this truth, it is easy to understand how valuable is his love without it we are nobody in this world.This will draw us more closer to him making us more intimate with Him.As a result we become obedient for we want to please Him always.And this becomes an unwritten new commandment.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?

To be frank, I do not think I will be in a state to ask any questions to Jesus while having a meal together.My heart will be jumping with excitement and at the same time I would be in tears too..I am sure I do not have to ask anything instead he will know what`s in my mind. Still, If I am in a state to ask anything, I would request him to fill me with humility and compassion so that I can understand my fellow beings in the right percepective.I believe these qualities we hardly experience in toda`s world..And i am sure WE both Jesus and I would be discussing on this state mostly duriong our meal together.

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?

He says that the one who keeps His commandments is the one that loves Him. He showed us His own obedience to the Father by His own death on the cross for all thus showing us His love for us. He also willingly carries our burdens, offers us His yoke, He makes everything easy for us. He shows us the way to Him. All we have to do is believe in Him and follow Him.

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?

Jesus give anyone who asks the Truth. Through obedience we can show him our gratitued. that is what he requiers from us, for him to be in us. It is the same in a Family, the father makes the rules and the kids listen to it and follow it, out of love not duty. And the Fathers sees that and know that they love him. And i dont think it is a new commandment, i think he just said it for us to be more clearly, for us to better understand his kingdom.

I would thank Him for that great privilege of having a one-on-one meal with Him. Then I would ask Him to show me what is the next step in my life. Also to make this way clear and without obstacles that I may be able to go straight without swerving this or that way but to reach that goal in my life.

i would thank him for all he did for us sinners. And i would thank him for connecting us to God again. I would ask him how i can be more like him and where my erros are. I would ask him how he came up with LOVE. I think just to be in his presentce would be life changing. and i would eat very very slow and alllllot of Food.

To have an intimate relationship with God we must be obedient to God and obey his commandements. If were are not willing to be obedient and be a follower of God then are we willing to have a intimate with our Lord and Savior.

I would thank Jesus for dying on the cross and given me a chance to have my sins be forgiven and be a child of God so I now have the chance to spend eternity with him.

I`M SO HAPPY THAT JESUS ACCEPTS ME AS I AM.EVERY DAY I FEEL CLOSER AND CLOSER TO MY LORD IF I WAS ABLE TO DINE WITH JESUS I WOULD SIT AT HIS FEET UNDER A TREE AND TALK TO HIM ABOUT THE WORLD AND THE SINNERS AND HOW TO BETTER TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL.
