Jesus teaches us to love.
Ive learned through his teachings of bible and guidance of the holy ghost in my daily life - to love your enemies and see them also as children of god.  I try not to judge them(this is not easy) and love them more.  Its amazing how someone full of anger or hate can change when you look at them with love.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
I think since Jesus was speaking largely to Jewish audiences and the 10 commandments passed down from God to Moses were so important in their faith tradition, Jesus calls his instruction to Love One Another a commandment. He is saying to his Jewish audience - this is important - it is on par with the 10 commandments and it is from God the Father. Honoring the 10 commandments is central to the faith tradition of the Jewish people, Jesus is saying Love One Another is central to Christianity.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
In todays world, we see wars, murders, fighting, child abusing, women being abuse, etc......... All these shows us that love does not exist. I believe all these things not only happen in todays world but long ago even in Jesus` time. Jesus foresee all these things will happen as the world is full of sinners. In order to avoid all these matter, Jesus commanded us to love one another especially our enemy. If most of us can follow this command, the world will have peace. If everyone reflect God`s love, I believe a lot of sinners will be save as they will be able to see God`s love and all the wonderful things He has done for us.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
because we have to show love to our fellow brothers and sisters as He also did to us, we have to love one another for aour own sake and for our own souls. If not, there will be no peace.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Love is something we can all learn, if not there is soo much hatred and evilness in the world. We all learn to help one another out in the hardest of times and we can overcome many things with love. Kinda like the Two heads are better than one deal. If we only have love just for ourselves we won`t get far. Selfishness does nothing but condemn us, helping each other out opens doors to meeting new and wonderful people. Like my mom always says Today me, tomorrow it might be you Help out and do not expect anything in return, that is the most selfish thing you can do, for you are not even doing it out of rightousness. When you least expect it you might be caught in a similar position where you might need help and how beautiful it is when people offer to lend a helping hand with no cost but out of love.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Yes that new commandment of laving one another is challenging me especially in the matter of loving people who hurt us. It is a great and hard sacrifice that a human being can make loving someone who is able even to kill you or to spread out even your whole family, I thank God for that as I`m able to love who hurts me. As I know that all my sins had been forgiven, i tried to forgive others and show them love. For example someone can insult me without any reason and i triy to look for a better time to offer whatever i can get at that time. This is a better way to live peacefully with the groly of our God.

"Whatever you want others to do for you, do so for them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." ( Matthew 7:12)

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." ( John 13:34)

'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' "This is the great and foremost commandment. "And a second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." ( Matthew 22:37)

Jesus said to Simon Peter a third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Jesus, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Tend My sheep." ( John 21:17)

"If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you." ( John 13:13)

"But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward in heaven will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men." ( Luke 6:35)

"Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many." ( Mark 10:43)
