Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
A new commandment I give unto you.To love one another as I have loved you. The Old Testament is governed by the 10 commandments. The Messiah came in the flesh and said that His new commandment was to love one another as I have loved you.Serve your fellow man. To listen to observe with the mind of Christ.Your heart mind and good habits are surrounded by the Holy spirit who is our helper. To serve your family and friends in His name and consider how you can act out Gods love in every detail of our lives. We no longer dwell on the rules of the commandments but we live every day immersed in Hos Holy Spirit and bathed in His commandments so that they will know you are christians by your love.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Love one another is a new commandment because it covers all the ten commandments, and goes further to include other values worthy observing, and the way it should be done but not among the ten commandments.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Love One Another, was not one of the first Ten Commandments. ''Exodus 20:1-17''. Not in one of the commandments does God say for us to love others. ''1'' Thou shalt have no other gods before me ''5'' Honour they father and mother... This is a type of love, but it is not a commandment to love others. Each Commandment tells us what not to do. The New Commandment directs us to `love` our neighbor in which we don`t want to covet anything that belongs to them. ''Commandment #10'' When you `love` someone, the last thing in the world you would want to do is try and take something that belongs to them, because of your jealousy. Love One Another is the step which helps us to follow the Ten Commandments as God meant for us to.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
In the Old Testament days. eye for eye, and tooth for a tooth was the rule. When Jesus came and spreached he for the FIRST time taught us to LOVE our ENEMIES and it was not worth loving the one who loves you, but to love those who hate you. The old testament rule was completely abolished and the LOVE ONE ANOTHER rule was established once in for all.

LOve one another
Despite that people rejected the truth Jesus Christ still love us. He called Love one another a new commandment because love is peace, unity, indiscrimination, sharing etc. Brethren in the illustration statd above if anyone can love one another He/She has found those benefits in His/her lives. Have you seen anybody offended himself and stated beating himself? That is the love God is talking about. Love your neighbour as you love yourself!
