jesus command of love
Jesus had nothing but love for all men. He loved the down trodden, the criminals the poor and the sick. many times we turn away from undesireables such as these. Jesus did. His example of love should be in our hearts at all times.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Because if we really love God with all our heart, soul and mind, then we will be bound to love others since they are all God`s creations. It will give testimony to others of Jesus Love for us and all men.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Love one another as I have loved you , so that you shall have peace among you and within you. While doing this people will see you and recognize that you are my disciples.Every person on earth today is aspiring to become the best or recognized in an own field. Become a leader a good one to be precise. these and other aspirations shall start from yourself. You can not give what you do not have. Imagine a teacher lecturing in an auditorium with 400 attendants and suddenly starts frowning? All faces in that place shall mimic his frowning too, likewise if he beams a smile same will interpolate through the others. In like manners the greatest and perfect man commands we love one another as ourselves. As no one hates own body. When you want to be a good leader you must first be a good follower. The measure with which you give is the measure with which you receive.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Jesus calls `Love one another` a new law because in the past, the general trend was to do good to those who do good to you, and to love those who loved you.It is new because Jesus calls people to pray for those who hate them and to do good to them.Jesus`ministry is new because he calls his followers to service-to serve others, claiming that if he is their Lord, and their boss and he has washed their feet-that he has served them, then they ought to serve others. Previously, working was for the less educated, and the slaves, and it was unheard of for people who were important to work, or serve. Hence, as Jesus comes serving, then he is different from the `big` fellows and hence his command to serve others is new.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Love one another is a new commandment because it starts from there, once you love one another the rest is easy. I mean if love me you cant do me evil and thats the principal that Jesus was teaching.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Becoz in the old testament love was taken in a different way not the way as Jesus express it in the new testament. I t was love your God only but Jesus add to it and it become love your God, love your neighbour as you love yourself.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Love one another is a new commandment, becuase Jesus summarized all the laws into just two commandments. In the laws and the prophet, love was not really preached, but repaying evil for evil and good for good. But noiw Jesus is preaching something completely new: Regardless of what the other person does, we are to love them, as ourselves. We are to love one another as Christ Himself loved us , to death on the cross. In the prsent day world, it is simple to realize that if we were to love one another as Christ asked, most of the problems will not exist-violence, wars and all will cease, and the world would be a better place.

"Whatever you want others to do for you, do so for them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." ( Matthew 7:12)

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." ( John 13:34)

'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' "This is the great and foremost commandment. "And a second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." ( Matthew 22:37)

Jesus said to Simon Peter a third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Jesus, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Tend My sheep." ( John 21:17)

"If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you." ( John 13:13)

"But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward in heaven will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men." ( Luke 6:35)

"Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many." ( Mark 10:43)
