In your own words, write down what the phrase, good news of God means?
Well the wages of sin is death, that`s bad news. God sent us Jesus to die on the cross and who ever believes in his heart that He is what the scriptures claim he will be saved, THAT IS GOOD NEWS.

In your own words, write down what the phrase, good news of God means?
The good news of God. Our Father who is in heaven, no matter what we do, will always be here for us. From the filthiest of sins until the most holy of acts. The Lord of all the universe is willing to be ridiculed, spit on and carry our sins on his back. The only price we pay is our tears. Please forgive us. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

The Calling of the First Disciples
The word good news of God means the gospel of salvation to us and making us to accept it. Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world``, John 1:29 By believieng that Jesus Christ was born in a flesh, He died for our sin, He was risen, Ascended to heaven and setted the right hand of the Father and He will come again for the rapture of the saints

Good news of God
Good news of God means the word of God, ie the Gospel. At the time of the birth of Jesus, the angels of God stood before the shepherds and proclaimed the good tidings of great joy. Jesus came to this world to deliver the entire mankind from their bondages of sin. One who believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as saviour in their life shall become the children of God. This is the Good news of God.

in my words
They are the liberation from sin that comes jointly with the fullfillment of the Law with Jesus Law of Love. He has come to bring salvation from sins - the cross - but that won`t be known until later. And the possibility of understanding which is the right path and following it. Becoming part of the family by becoming his disciples, welcoming the Word and becoming inheritors of the Kingdom of the Father.

The Calling of the First Disciples

Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News."
Passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. Jesus said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men."
Immediately they left their nets, and followed him. Going on a little further from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John, his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets. Immediately he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.
