jesus was teaching so attactively because the jews where over righteous.and they had nothing to do with the gentailes. he new that those who don`t listen to GOD. will see the power of God and do what he asks with out looking back.

Well the tax collectors and prostitutes were sinners who repented from their sins and who were forgiven by God. But the righteous didn`t believe John, so they didn`t repent from their sins. Repentance involves a complete change in the mind and will of the believer. God is the one who brings conviction of sin within people and gives them the readiness to repent and believe. Thank You! Jesus want to proof to his people that all people is equal infront of Father and can go to heaven as long they repent from all sin they done. Jesus want His people to see that this tax collector and prostitute are those who easy to repent and come to Jesus compare to those Farisees who say themself `expert in old testament`. As conclusion, no matter how deep your sin is, Jesus really hope you to repent and He will running to hug us just like `The Lost son who cameback to His father`.

in that time tax collector and a prostitute were considert as the least of human beings, male and female. jesus told them that they are worthy of Gods kingdom because the repent and belived john. so no one can look down on anyone that had a bad past coz what they do with the knowlege of the gospel is important. everyone got the same gift of salvation. praise gods for that !!!

Jesus teaching was attractive to this category of persons because they saw hope for their redemption. Jesus did not judge them by their deeds but rather by their willingness to repent and be saved. Jesus gave them an opportunity to see themselves as worthy and equal.

Tax collectors and prostitutes were the examples of evil and unrighteousness.They were widely hated and abhored by the Pharesees and Scribes.But Christ treated them with love and understanding and never subjected them to any form of hatred.Christ also assured them of inheritance of the kingdom of God if they could honestly repent of their sins.The teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ gave them hope and good expectations.

At the time of our Lord Jesus Christ when he is here on earth the most example sinners were the tax collectors and the prostitutes, he explaining to the disciples that the peoples who were seen John the baptist and believed as a prophet cleaning the sins by water and preparing the way of a light but not repent is liked the second son. The lord Jesus Christ came to this world to gived a redemptions to all the sinners and repented to thier sins and had a new life and make rigfhtteousness to his fellow men will inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus did not have categories of sinners because he treated all sins equally. therfore no matter how the prostitutes or tax collectors were regarded by the pharisees and the Jews, he knew they could repent because every sinner is capable of entering the Kingdom of God, as long as you repent.
