Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction?
Because there would have been no salvation for humanity His beloved children. Also points to the obeyance of Jesus: if YOU let it pass away, that is if it is not Thy will, but i humbly and sdeadfastly follow the path you set for me. He would have not opened the gates of heaven that way.Or better cleansed us of our impurities and showed us the way. Through his purification and with the same strenghtening example At first it strikes that the disciples are more afraid in a way. And not they fall asleep thinking no it wont ahppen Jesus dying ''although that word is never mentioned i read somewhere''. The Word Resurrection should be chiming in their ears already. But Jesus knew all that was to happen. Yet he si sorrowful and feels lonely. Ther disbelief? their not being with him in that night?his in agony and yet the words he pronounces are teachings and encouragement. Get on your knees and pray and ask for Stamina against temptations. So uplifting. I will keep his words in mind whilst taking the Eucharist today.:''

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction?
Because if the father did that then sending his son to die for salvation will be of no use and moreover there wouldn`t have been any salvation for the children her created in his own image

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction?
Jesus was send for a purpose and that purpose must be fulfilled. If Father allowed the cup to pass over Jesus, there would have been no salvation today. For it has been said, that without the shedding of blood, there would no remittance for sin. Jesus shed that blood to carry away our sins.

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction?
Well our heavenly father knew this was the reason his son was send to Jerusalem. To redeem us sinners from sin by Jesus Christ accepting the cup. Jesus knew what was going to take place and that is why he was sorrowful even after praying several times. But Jesus said not my will but your will be done heavenly father. So that is why his Father did not pass the cup away. Thank God! for his Mercy and Grace. We worship you O Lord for you are worthy to be praised. Praise the Lord!

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction?
1. The Father cannot denied Himself, if Abraham obey the God and willing to sacrifice his son for Him, why not God. He full of truth and He always keep His word even before Jesus came to this world. 2. Jesus know what he will go trough ''crucifiction'' and God will NEVER EVER let Jesus suffer the pain that He cannot take. We as human for sure cannot stand the caning from muscular Roman soldier; maybe after one whipping we beg for mercy and worst denied our God just to save our life. My point here is God will never let us go trough pain beyond our limits and Its already written in bible. Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction for us, for our salvation. Praise our Yahweh!

Gethsemane

Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to his disciples, "Sit here, while I go there and pray." He took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and severely troubled. Then he said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here, and watch with me."
He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire."
He came to the disciples, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "What, couldn't you watch with me for one hour? Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Again, a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, "My Father, if this cup can't pass away from me unless I drink it, your desire be done." He came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. He left them again, went away, and prayed a third time, saying the same words. Then he came to his disciples, and said to them, "Sleep on now, and take your rest. Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Arise, let's be going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand."
