In what ways are Jesus` followers salt and light to the world?
Light we are to bring the Words testify to it so that other people`s lives will be illumined. Salt brings out the falvr of the food that it is sprinkled on. Maybe thinking also of the metaphore of the yeast we are to bring out the goodness out of our fellow men. Like Christ is the Salt that brings it out in us. Also salt helps bread rise. Rising to a new life..imo

The Serving Salt which reflects Jesus melts into other peples so as bring out the best in them.
And the Light of  good wooks which reflect Jesus bring out the praise to God the Father in heaven into the peoples of the world.

In what ways are Jesus` followers salt and light to the world?
To liken a follower of Jesus to salt is to understand that salt is a preservative and if we live right and set good examples for others to follow and lead them to Jesus, we help preserve them from corruption. God uses us as light to illuminate the minds of others by spreading the Word.

Salt and Light

"You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men. You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
