What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus? Peter was afraid to be identified with Jesus because he was not yet filled with Holy Spirit which will give him power. This is the reason why many people still afraid to identify Jesus. We need to be fill with HIS Spirit all the time, we cannot see Jssus now but can only fill him in spirit. When His spirit lives in us we have strength.

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction? The Father let the cup pass because then our fight againt evil would have not been won. It was because of Jesus` crucifiction that our sins are fogiven.
